\u00bfAlguna vez te has preguntado qu\u00e9 significa realmente ser viuda? Cuando mi esposo de 50 a\u00f1os muri\u00f3\nhace casi tres a\u00f1os, me resist\u00ed seriamente incluso a que me llamaran viuda. La viudez es caminar por la misma casa en la que has vivido durante a\u00f1os y ya no sentirte como en casa.\nPorque \u201chogar\u201d incorpor\u00f3 a una persona. Y no est\u00e1n all\u00ed. La nostalgia llena tu coraz\u00f3n y el conocimiento\nde que nunca volver\u00e1 te persigue.<\/p>

La viudez es ver todos sus sue\u00f1os y planes que compart\u00edan como pareja derrumbarse a su alrededor. El\ndoloroso proceso de buscar nuevos sue\u00f1os que solo te incluyan a ti equivale a escalar el Monte Everest.\nY cada peque\u00f1a victoria de crear nuevos sue\u00f1os para ti mismo incluye un nuevo matiz de dolor porque\nsu muerte te impuls\u00f3 a este camino.<\/p>

La viudez es cuestionar todo lo que cre\u00edas saber sobre ti mismo. Tu vida se ha moldeado junto con la de\notros y sin ellos tienes que volver a aprender todos tus gustos, aficiones, miedos, metas. El renacimiento\nde una nueva persona te enorgullece y te rompe el coraz\u00f3n al mismo tiempo.<\/p>

La viudez es ser un extra\u00f1o en tu propia vida. La desconcertante sensaci\u00f3n de observarte a ti misma\ndesde fuera de tu cuerpo, siguiendo los movimientos de lo que fue tu vida, pero estando separado de todo ello. No te reconoces a ti misma. Tu vida anterior se siente como un vapor desaparecido hace\nmucho tiempo, como la niebla de un sue\u00f1o, comienzas a preguntarte si sucedi\u00f3 en absoluto.<\/p>

La viudez es la iron\u00eda de saber que si esa persona estuviera aqu\u00ed para ser tu apoyo, tendr\u00edas la fuerza\npara afligir a esa persona. El pensamiento te retuerce y te confunde. Si solo estuvieran aqu\u00ed para\nabrazarte y hablar contigo, tendr\u00edas la tenacidad para enfrentarte a esta vida no deseada. Para afrontar\nla ardua tarea de seguir adelante sin ellos.<\/p>

La viudez es perder a la \u00fanica persona que realmente podr\u00eda entender lo que hay en tu coraz\u00f3n para\ncompartir. La broma graciosa, el incidente vergonzoso, el miedo que te obliga o la frustraci\u00f3n que te\ntienta. A cualquier otra persona, tendr\u00edas que explic\u00e1rselo, y eso es demasiado esfuerzo, as\u00ed que te lo\nguardas para ti. Y la soledad crece dentro de ti.<\/p>

La viudez es una lucha con la identidad. \u00bfQui\u00e9n eres t\u00fa sino su c\u00f3nyuge? \u00bfQu\u00e9 quieres hacer sino las\ncosas que planearon juntos? \u00bfQu\u00e9 marca quieres comprar sino la que compartieron durante 20 a\u00f1os?\n\u00bfCu\u00e1l es tu prop\u00f3sito si te quitaron el trabajo de invertir en tu matrimonio? \u00bfQui\u00e9n es mi compa\u00f1ero\nm\u00e1s cercano cuando mi otra mitad no est\u00e1 aqu\u00ed?<\/p>

La viudez es sentirte inquieta porque perdiste tu hogar, identidad, pareja, amante, amigo, compa\u00f1ero\nde juegos, compa\u00f1ero de viaje, co-padre, seguridad y vida. Y est\u00e1s a la deriva con un destino\ndesconocido.<\/p>

La viudez es vivir en un estado constante de a\u00f1oranza de la relaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s \u00edntima. Sin mano para sostener.\nNing\u00fan cuerpo a tu lado. Ning\u00fan socio para compartir tu carga.<\/p>

La viudez es estar solo en una multitud de personas. Sentirte triste incluso cuando est\u00e1s feliz. Sentirte\nculpable mientras vives. Es mirar hacia atr\u00e1s mientras avanzas. Es tener hambre pero nada suena\napetitoso. Cada evento especial se vuelve agridulce.<\/p>
