Por ejemplo, sol\u00eda decir: \u00ab\u00a1Es mejor ir a 10 km\/h en medio de una tormenta de nieve que quedarse atascado en la zanja!\u00bb Bueno, \u00a1\u00bfqui\u00e9n deber\u00eda estar afuera en una tormenta de nieve para empezar?! A pesar de su l\u00f3gica il\u00f3gica, me sorprendo usando muchas de sus frases cuando ense\u00f1o a grupos o brindo asesor\u00eda individual.<\/p>\n<p>Hace unos d\u00edas escuch\u00e9 una nueva frase que se me ha quedado grabada, \u00a1quiz\u00e1 porque en este momento me resulta muy relevante! \u00ab\u00a1La acci\u00f3n absorbe la ansiedad!\u00bb De eso quiero hablar hoy. Lo dir\u00e9 de nuevo: \u00ab\u00a1La acci\u00f3n absorbe la ansiedad!\u00bb T\u00f3mate un momento para reflexionarlo, dejando que se asiente en tu mente y en tu coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En nuestros grupos de Refocusing Widows, dedicamos un tiempo a conversar sobre la diferencia entre miedo y ansiedad. Esencialmente, el miedo es algo real sobre lo que puedes hacer algo. La ansiedad es algo que no es real, que en realidad no ha ocurrido. No hay nada que puedas hacer al respecto, no puedes \u201carreglarlo\u201d y, por lo general, \u00a1no puedes detenerlo! Al menos, eso es lo que siempre hab\u00eda pensado. Sin embargo, en esta peque\u00f1a afirmaci\u00f3n encontramos una clave para manejar la ansiedad: \u00a1simplemente haz algo! Es realmente bastante sencillo.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9jame darte un ejemplo. Durante varias ma\u00f1anas seguidas, me he despertado de golpe con una sensaci\u00f3n de inquietud, pensando en las flores que no plant\u00e9 el fin de semana pasado y preocup\u00e1ndome de que se vayan a morir antes de ponerlas en la tierra. Luego mi mente saltaba a todos los blogs que a\u00fan no he escrito para el verano y despu\u00e9s a la hora en que ten\u00eda que levantarme para ir a aer\u00f3bicos acu\u00e1ticos por toda la construcci\u00f3n en las calles. Finalmente, despu\u00e9s de quedarme una hora m\u00e1s d\u00e1ndole vueltas a todo lo que ten\u00eda en mi lista de pendientes, decid\u00ed que deb\u00eda levantarme y empezar el d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La realidad es que, en la hora que pas\u00e9 sinti\u00e9ndome ansiosa por todo lo que no hab\u00eda hecho, \u00a1podr\u00eda haber completado las primeras cinco cosas de la lista! Parece que la mejor manera de avanzar con la lista de pendientes es, simplemente, comenzar a tachar cosas de la lista.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abNo se inquieten por nada; m\u00e1s bien, en toda ocasi\u00f3n, con oraci\u00f3n y ruego, presenten sus peticiones a Dios y denle gracias. Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, cuidar\u00e1 sus corazones y sus pensamientos en Cristo Jes\u00fas.\u00bb \u2013 Filipenses 4:6-7<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Este pasaje de las Escrituras nos brinda otra manera de tomar acci\u00f3n para reducir nuestra ansiedad. Podemos ser intencionales al dirigir nuestra atenci\u00f3n hacia Dios y pedirle espec\u00edficamente por aquello que nos preocupa. \u00bfY cu\u00e1l ser\u00e1 el resultado de dar ese paso? \u00a1La paz de Dios vendr\u00e1 a cuidar tu coraz\u00f3n y tu mente! F\u00edjate que en este pasaje en particular \u00c9l no garantiza nada m\u00e1s, excepto que Su paz proteger\u00e1 tus pensamientos y tus emociones. Me imagino a un guerrero \u00e1ngel de 3 metros de altura custodiando la entrada de mi mente y manteniendo afuera todo lo que pudiera causarme ansiedad. (Al menos esa es mi versi\u00f3n, \u00a1y me quedo con ella!)<\/p>\n<p>En otro pasaje, en Juan 14:27, Jes\u00fas dice lo siguiente:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abLa paz les dejo, mi paz les doy; yo no se la doy a ustedes como la da el mundo. No se turbe su coraz\u00f3n ni tenga miedo.\u00bb \u2013 Juan 14:27<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nuevamente vemos a Jes\u00fas hablando de una paz que calmar\u00e1 nuestros corazones. En ambos pasajes indica que esta paz es algo que probablemente no vamos a comprender. \u00a1A veces simplemente no hay una raz\u00f3n l\u00f3gica para NO sentir ansiedad por algo! Su paz va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo que podr\u00edamos esperar.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que, si sientes la tentaci\u00f3n de estar ansioso\/a o te est\u00e1s preocupando por cosas que podr\u00edan pasar pero que a\u00fan no son reales, toma acci\u00f3n y s\u00e9 intencional al dirigir tu coraz\u00f3n hacia Dios. Recuerda nuestro lema de esta semana: \u00a1La acci\u00f3n absorbe la ansiedad!
