Hoy queremos abordar el segundo aspecto fundamental para nuestro bienestar y\nautocuidado: la hidrataci\u00f3n. Muchos de los problemas de salud que experimentamos se deben\ndirectamente a la falta de agua. \u00bfSab\u00eda que casi el 75 % de su cuerpo es agua? \u00bfNo es de extra\u00f1ar que\nnecesitemos agua para funcionar correctamente? Un estudio de la Universidad de Connecticut\ndescubri\u00f3 que incluso una disminuci\u00f3n del 1,5 % en el volumen de agua corporal puede afectar\nconsiderablemente el estado de \u00e1nimo, los niveles de energ\u00eda y las capacidades cognitivas.\n\u00a1Ciertamente no necesitamos que esto siga ocurriendo cuando ya lidiamos con emociones inestables,\nagotamiento y la confusi\u00f3n de la viudez!<\/p>\n<p>Hablemos un momento sobre por qu\u00e9 beber agua es tan importante durante el duelo por una\np\u00e9rdida significativa.<\/p>\n<p>1.)\u00a0\u00a0<strong> Salud F\u00edsica<\/strong>: Una buena hidrataci\u00f3n contribuye a funciones corporales como la digesti\u00f3n, la\ncirculaci\u00f3n y la regulaci\u00f3n de la temperatura. La deshidrataci\u00f3n puede provocar dolores de\ncabeza, fatiga y mareos, lo que agrava el impacto emocional y f\u00edsico del duelo. Podr\u00edamos\nempezar a notar problemas como p\u00e9rdida de memoria, falta de concentraci\u00f3n, debilidad f\u00edsica\ny m\u00e1s problemas de equilibrio y ca\u00eddas. Intente beber m\u00e1s agua para aliviar estos s\u00edntomas;\n\u00a1vale la pena intentarlo!<\/p>\n<p>2.)\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Niveles de Energ\u00eda<\/strong>: Mantenerse hidratada ayuda a mantener los niveles de energ\u00eda, lo que\nnos permite afrontar las exigencias del proceso de duelo y el estr\u00e9s emocional de la p\u00e9rdida.\nEl duelo en s\u00ed mismo es agotador y agota nuestras reservas de energ\u00eda. \u00a1No lo empeore\ndeshidrat\u00e1ndose!<\/p>\n<p>3.)\u00a0 <strong>Funci\u00f3n Cognitiva<\/strong>: La deshidrataci\u00f3n puede afectar la funci\u00f3n cognitiva, dificultando la\nconcentraci\u00f3n y la toma de decisiones. Beber agua ayuda a mantener la mente despejada y\nenfocada, lo cual es vital durante el proceso de duelo. \u00bfBusque una manera de aliviar la niebla\nmental? \u00a1Beba agua!<\/p>\n<p>4.)\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Regulaci\u00f3n del estado de \u00e1nimo<\/strong>: Mantenerse hidratada puede estabilizar el estado de \u00e1nimo,\nfacilitando el manejo de las fluctuaciones emocionales durante el proceso de duelo. \u00a1Ya\nsabemos que nuestras emociones pueden ser muy diversas! Beber agua puede proporcionar\nuna pausa relajante y ayudar a recuperar el equilibrio emocional. Los expertos m\u00e9dicos afirman que la deshidrataci\u00f3n puede agravar la depresi\u00f3n y la ansiedad, dos\nefectos secundarios comunes del duelo. La deshidrataci\u00f3n y la depresi\u00f3n est\u00e1n interconectadas de\nvarias maneras, y la deshidrataci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica es un posible s\u00edntoma de depresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>5.)\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Calidad del Sue\u00f1o<\/strong>: El duelo puede interrumpir el sue\u00f1o y la deshidrataci\u00f3n puede empeorar\nsu calidad. Mantenerse hidratado puede ayudar a garantizar un sue\u00f1o reparador durante\nestos momentos dif\u00edciles.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando nuestra situaci\u00f3n parece abrumadora y ya tenemos dificultades para recordar todo lo\nque debemos atender, no es de extra\u00f1ar que olvidemos algo tan simple como comer o beber.\nA menudo pensamos que consumimos mucho m\u00e1s de lo que realmente consumimos.\nRecuerdo haber cuidado a mi madre despu\u00e9s de una cirug\u00eda y recordarle que necesitaba\nbeber m\u00e1s l\u00edquidos. Su respuesta fue: &quot;\u00a1Bebo todo el tiempo!&quot;. En realidad, ten\u00eda un vaso de\nagua junto a su silla, \u00a1y probablemente beb\u00eda unos 110 mililitros en todo el d\u00eda! \u00a1La mejor\nmanera de controlar esto es simplemente anotarlo! \u00a1Le sorprender\u00e1 lo poco que bebe!<\/p>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1s se pregunte: \"\u00bfCu\u00e1nta agua necesito beber?\". La mayor\u00eda de los entrenadores f\u00edsicos\nsugieren beber la mitad de su peso corporal en onzas de agua al d\u00eda. Por ejemplo, si pesa 63\nkilos, deber\u00eda beber aproximadamente 2 litros de agua. \u00a1Eso equivale a m\u00e1s de dos cuartos de\ngal\u00f3n de agua al d\u00eda! A primera vista, \u00a1parece casi imposible! Pero hay algunas maneras de\naumentar gradualmente nuestro consumo. Considere estas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lleva una botella de agua con usted a dondequiera que vaya.<\/strong>\u00a0As\u00ed podr\u00e1 beber cuando le\napetezca, \u00a1aunque no tenga mucha sed! Llev siempre uno en el coche. Y, por cierto, el caf\u00e9\ndeshidrata, \u00a1as\u00ed que no lo cuente como agua!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Realice un seguimiento de su consumo.<\/strong>\u00a0Intente consumir la cantidad \u00f3ptima de agua cada d\u00eda,\nal menos la mitad de su peso corporal en onzas. \u00a1Ah\u00ed lo tiene! La mitad de su peso corporal.\nCuriosamente, beber esa cantidad le ayudar\u00e1 a perder peso.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ajuste su consumo para alcanzar la mitad de su consumo recomendado al\nmediod\u00eda.\u00a0<\/strong>Siempre puedes terminar aproximadamente una hora antes de irte a dormir.\n\u00a1Probablemente sea una buena idea si no quieres estar despierto toda la noche corriendo al\nba\u00f1o!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consuma alimentos ricos en agua. <\/strong>Incluya en su dieta frutas y verduras con alto contenido de\nagua, como sand\u00eda, pepinos y naranjas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Antes de terminar este tema, veamos lo que la Biblia dice sobre el agua. Sin entrar en detalles,\npodemos decir que las Escrituras est\u00e1n repletas de referencias al agua. Simboliza al Esp\u00edritu Santo en\nmuchas ocasiones, y tambi\u00e9n sugiere limpieza, purificaci\u00f3n, dedicaci\u00f3n, sanidad y refrigerio. La idea\nde refrigerio es particularmente interesante en relaci\u00f3n con el duelo. As\u00ed como es importante\nrecordar beber agua f\u00edsica, tambi\u00e9n es importante recordar beber el agua de la vida espiritualmente,\ndedicando tiempo a las Escrituras y pidi\u00e9ndole a Dios que nos ayude a sanar el coraz\u00f3n y refrescar el\nesp\u00edritu.
