El Shaddai: Dios Todopoderoso, el que todo lo puede.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

El Shaddai: \u00abDios Todopoderoso\u00bb, \u00abEl que es m\u00e1s que suficiente\u00bb, \u00abEl que todo lo puede\u00bb. \u00a1Vaya! \u00bfQu\u00e9 im\u00e1genes te vienen a la mente al leer estas descripciones de Dios? \u00bfHay algo que est\u00e9 m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la capacidad de nuestro Dios? Inmediatamente me viene a la mente una peque\u00f1a canci\u00f3n que sol\u00edamos cantar en la escuela dominical y que dice algo as\u00ed:<\/p>\n

\u00c9l puede, \u00c9l puede, s\u00e9 que \u00c9l puede,<\/p>\n

\u00a1S\u00e9 que mi Se\u00f1or es capaz de ayudarme a salir adelante!<\/p>\n

\u00c9l sana a los quebrantados de coraz\u00f3n, libera a los cautivos,<\/p>\n

Hizo que los cojos volvieran a caminar y que los ciegos volvieran a ver.<\/p>\n

\u00c9l puede, \u00c9l puede, s\u00e9 que \u00c9l puede,<\/p>\n

\u00a1S\u00e9 que mi Se\u00f1or es capaz de ayudarme a salir adelante!<\/p>\n

Una de las caracter\u00edsticas que definen a un ser creado es tener limitaciones. Por mucho que intentemos ser autosuficientes, al final nos encontraremos con algo que est\u00e1 m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de nuestras capacidades. El nombre El Shaddai<\/em> da testimonio de la maravillosa verdad de que Dios no tiene tales limitaciones. Significa Dios Todopoderoso, el Autosuficiente, el Omnipotente, el Dios de Poder Ilimitado.<\/p>\n

Cuando miramos el nombre Elohim<\/em>, aprendimos que EL<\/em> Se refiere a los atributos del car\u00e1cter de Dios relacionados con el poder y la fuerza. El<\/em> apunta al poder de Dios mismo. Shaddai <\/em>parece derivar de otra palabra que significa \u00abpecho\u00bb. Las dos juntas indican Aquel que nutre, provee y satisface. Es Dios como \u00abEl\u00bb quien ayuda, pero es Dios como \u00abShaddai\u00bb quien bendice abundantemente con todo tipo de bendiciones. En hebreo, el nombre El Shaddai enfatiza la capacidad de Dios para manejar cualquier situaci\u00f3n que enfrente a su pueblo.<\/p>\n

Este nombre que Dios se da a s\u00ed mismo se introduce en el contexto de su pacto con Abraham y aparece por primera vez en G\u00e9nesis 17:1-2.<\/p>\n

Cuando Abram ten\u00eda noventa y nueve a\u00f1os, el Se\u00f1or se le apareci\u00f3 y le dijo: <\/em>Yo soy el Dios Todopoderoso; anda delante de m\u00ed y s\u00e9 perfecto. Y har\u00e9 mi pacto entre m\u00ed y ti, y te multiplicar\u00e9 en gran manera.<\/em><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de 25 a\u00f1os de esperar que se cumpliera una promesa, Dios se le revel\u00f3 a Abraham de esta manera en el momento de mayor duda. Dios le record\u00f3 que Su nombre es El Shaddai, aquel para quien nada es imposible.<\/p>\n

Entonces, tal vez te preguntes c\u00f3mo se relaciona este nombre con tu camino como viuda. La mayor\u00eda de las personas quieren todo de inmediato: caf\u00e9 instant\u00e1neo, t\u00e9 instant\u00e1neo, comida para llevar, respuestas instant\u00e1neas a sus oraciones. Sin embargo, a menudo nos damos cuenta de que debemos mantener firme nuestra confianza para obtener recompensas.<\/p>\n

Solo hay tres razones por las que no puedes confiar en alguien: no dice la verdad; cambia caprichosamente; o no puede cumplir lo que promete. El Shaddai, Dios Todopoderoso, ES la Verdad, \u00a1\u00c9l no puede cambiar y es plenamente capaz de hacer todo lo que dice!<\/p>\n

El des\u00e1nimo y la decepci\u00f3n son gemelos de los mismos padres: las circunstancias dif\u00edciles y la adversidad. Las expectativas sobre la vida pueden frustrarse cuando se presentan circunstancias contrarias. En esos momentos, o en momentos en los que necesitamos esperar pacientemente, El Shaddai aparece en escena. \u00c9l es el que cambia la vida de manera definitiva, y lo que promete, \u00a1lo cumple!<\/p>\n

Muchas veces, debido a las circunstancias de nuestra vida, se hace necesario que nos mantengamos firmes bajo la \u00abomnipotencia\u00bb de Dios y lo declaremos como nuestro El Shaddai. Consideremos el Salmo 91, que describe tan acertadamente lo que significa vivir bajo la protecci\u00f3n del \u00danico que puede satisfacer todas nuestras necesidades. \u00abHabitar\u00bb significa establecerse firmemente all\u00ed y posicionarse en el conocimiento de que \u00c9l es m\u00e1s que suficiente. Dios anhela que habitemos con \u00c9l y caminemos ante \u00c9l en Su presencia en todo momento.<\/p>\n

Debemos recordar que Dios es, en efecto, El Shaddai, \u00abDios Todopoderoso\u00bb, y que \u00c9l puede resolver cualquier problema que se nos presente. Cuando nos damos cuenta de que \u00c9l es el Dios Todopoderoso, el Gobernante omnipotente del universo, comenzamos a ver cosas maravillosas suceder en nuestras vidas. \u00a1Nuestra fe se fortalece al darnos cuenta de que Dios es grande!<\/p>\n

Cuando nos quedamos viudas, hay tantas cosas ante nosotras que parecen imposibles. No sabemos c\u00f3mo vamos a manejar las situaciones financieras a las que nos enfrentamos; no sabemos nada sobre el mantenimiento de la casa y el coche; \u00bfqui\u00e9n se encargar\u00e1 de todo el papeleo? Estas cosas parecen estar justo delante de nosotras como monta\u00f1as que nunca podremos escalar.<\/p>\n

Es en momentos como estos cuando podemos recurrir a El Shaddai<\/em>, el Todopoderoso, que puede ayudarnos a resolver todos los problemas y que tiene la respuesta a todas las preguntas. \u00c9l puede desenredar todas las redes y satisfacer todas nuestras necesidades.<\/p>\n

Recuerda: \u00ab... Y a aquel que es capaz de hacer mucho m\u00e1s abundantemente de lo que pedimos o pensamos, seg\u00fan el poder que obra en nosotros...\u00bb \u2013 Efesios 3:20. <\/em>Recuerda todas aquellas veces en las que \u00c9l satisfizo una necesidad o envi\u00f3 a alguien a tu camino para ayudarte. Si lo ha hecho antes, \u00a1seguro que seguir\u00e1 cuid\u00e1ndote con su provisi\u00f3n infinita!<\/p>\n
